Not exactly the same thing, but I’ll never forget my Ebay credit card account being hacked. It was an account specifically set up for ebay so the balance on it (if any) was a max. amount of say $30. It got broken into, and the money was spent on signing me up for “MonsterC*ck.net” ($25…hey, that’s cheap) and $5 to the American Cancer Institute. Nothing like the hacker with a heart that buys their porn, but then redeems themselves by giving to the AC. Everytime I hear about a porn/spam/hack deal, I think of that. What was worse was calling up the AC and explaining to them, kindly reverse the charge. Perhaps I should have let well enough alone and given to both poor souls. Monster**** needs love to. LMAO.
